Welcome to my continual fascination with words, most particularly my love of developing acronyms to help me remember things, to emphasize important concepts, to have some fun and to watch my friends roll their eyes and groan!
A little etymology background first, as usual….the root “sacro-” most commonly relates to the sacrum, the triangular bone at the base of the spine, derived from the Latin “os sacrum” meaning “holy bone.” The trianglular shape is indicative of wholeness, completion, and/or strength from many different cultural, religious, philosophical and even engineering perspectives. Consider for example: body-mind-spirit, the HolyTrinity, birth-life-death, thought-feeling-emotion, imagine-affirm-manifest and in engineering, it signifies strength, stability, and direction, forming the foundation for structures like bridges and pyramids. So much meaning in one little word/shape!
Less commonly, and stemming from the same Latin root sacer, sacro relates to things that are sacred or holy, as seen in words like sacred or sacrifice. That’s the one I’m mainly referencing in my SACRO-NYMS. Sacred acronyms!

Numinous – love this word… has an interesting etymology, coming from the early association in Latin with “nod” and becoming associated later with the gods, and ending up around the 16th century use in English to mean supernatural, mysterious, spiritual, holy.
NOW Numinous Open Window There is only NOW! Stay in the present – where God lives and breathes as you, in you, with you, through you.
TRUTH Transcendental Reality of the Universe that Transforms Hearts
God by whatever name you choose is TRUTH, transcending all time, space, physicality… everything
TOGGLE Think On God, Gratitude, and Loving Expressions
Using your thought as a toggle switch, this is based on Emmett Fox’s “The Golden Key,” as a way to manage concerns, problems, difficulties in life. He says, “Stop thinking about the difficulty, whatever it is, and think about God instead.” God is Goodness, Gratitude, and Love – these are ways to focus your thinking on God, so use the TOGGLE switch.
